From a technology standpoint, the future that everyone talked about before the pandemic is now here, ahead of schedule. We expected significant advancements in our world evolution, in adopting new business models, and in generating outcomes for researchers and community members like never before. Today, this is no longer a prediction; it is reality.
Multinational companies and humanitarian organizations predict a deep recession in which more than 1bn people will suffer nutrition insecurity in a time when global food supplies is under escalating pressure. Another matter is climate change which affects the agricultural land productivity, pollution that affects Earth’s waters and less but not least, sustainability. We also have to take into consideration and of course, find solutions, for an accelerated growth of world population.
ODA is a response to all these factors and can bring sustainable, tailored, nutritionally balanced food for emergency affected population, social crises, military use (land, water, air), space expeditions, state and private bunkers and more.
When we talk about new foods there is always, one way or another, skepticism and the acceptance that it is possible otherwise but now, more than ever, we need to embrace ideas that can really change our life in better, to keep open minded and to think outside the box.
We evolved preciously because we believe in visionary ideas, in that “beyond the limits” and that was and is what makes us so adaptable and ready to move forward. Food is part of this picture and future will most probably be like, if today, we have an image, tomorrow will “beat” that image and will show us the impossible.
ODA is part of future food and technologies that can revolutionize food industry and be a game “charger” in situations that can face the challenges and changes in the context of a continuous growth of the world’s population and global dynamic movements.
